WHAT: Township trustees meeting Monday
PRESENT: Ron Haun, Dan Suttles and Mark Ferrara
• Increased the pay of volunteer fire Capt. J. Richmond as office assistant from $9.75 to $13 per hour and making it retroactive to July 1;
• Will review quotes to improve the lighting at the administration building;
• Opposed the vacating of part of Jesse Road and will send information to the Trumbull County commissioners;
• Approved the purchase of 20 gallons of encapsulating foam and special application nozzle from Advance Eco Systems at $2,489;
• Set a special meeting for 4 p.m. Sept. 23 for opening bids for sale of township property;
• Set a community “Talk with a Trustee” 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 24 regarding the road levy on the November ballot.
